The Southern League Cup is a knock-out cup competition organised by the Southern Football League. For the 2017–18 season, the competition was known as the BigFreeBet.com Challenge Cup for sponsorship reasons. It is understood that the majority of funds from the sponsorship deal are being put into developing English grassroots football.

**Puchar Ligi Południowej w Anglii**

Puchar Ligi Południowej to turniej piłkarski rozgrywany w Anglii, w którym biorą udział drużyny z niższych lig systemu angielskiego. Turniej został założony w 1931 roku i początkowo nazywał się Southern Floodlit Cup. Obecną nazwę przyjął w 1980 roku.

W Pucharze Ligi Południowej biorą udział drużyny z niższych lig, takich jak Conference National, Conference South i Isthmian League. Turniej rozgrywany jest w systemie pucharowym, a mecze rozgrywane są na neutralnych stadionach. Zwycięzca turnieju kwalifikuje się do pierwszej rundy Pucharu Ligi Angielskiej.

Puchar Ligi Południowej jest prestiżowym trofeum dla drużyn z niższych lig i stanowi dla nich szansę na pokazanie się na większej scenie oraz wywalczenie awansu do wyższej ligi.
